Moldovan bank to take over Banca de Economii's treasury accounts
Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Finance Ministry today announced the winner of a tender for selecting a bank due to take over the treasury accounts of the Moldovan Saving Bank (Banca de Economii, BEM). The winner is Moldova-Agroindbank, according to a press release by the Finance Ministry.
When designating the winner, the accumulated points and the bids presented by banks were taken into account.
A public tender for selecting the banks to take over the treasury accounts of BEM, scheduled to be liquidated by 16 October, was announced on 1 September.
The Posta Moldovei (Moldova'as Post) state enterprise took over only current social payments from BEM, so that, subsequently, once beneficiaries selected, to be transferred to the banks which, also on a contest-basis, are to be selected by the National Social Insurance House.
