Serghei Tarnovschi wins bronze at European Canoe Championship in Racice

Moldovan canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi won the bronze medal in the 1000-meter event at the European Canoe Sprint Championship held in Racice, the Czech Republic.

The athlete from the Republic of Moldova had a remarkable performance, managing to climb onto the podium after an extremely contested race. He was surpassed by the European champion, Romanian Cătălin Chirilă, who won the gold, and by Czech Martin Fuksa, who finished in second place.

Six rowers represented the Republic of Moldova at the European Canoe Sprint Championship. The event began on Thursday in the city of Racice, the Czech Republic.
