More business people from both banks of Dniester participate in international exhibition in Bulgaria

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ - A group of 10 business people from both banks of Dniester will expand their sales markets due to participation, for the first time ever, with a collective stand, in the INTERFOOD & DRINKS - 2014 international specialised exhibition, staged in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 5 – 8 November.

The Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), with the financial assistance of the European Union and UNDP, within the Support to Confidence Building Measures programme, organised the participation in the event, the CCI's press service has reported.

The native entrepreneurs negotiated and set cooperation contacts with businessmen from other states, in order to export tomatoes, apples, chocolate, pastry, dried plums, etc. Bulgarian, Italian, Polish, Chinese and other business people highly appreciated the quality of the Moldovan food products.

Moldovan Ambassador to Bulgaria Alexandru Prigorschi, who visited the Moldovan stand, urged the entrepreneurs to participate more often in such events and emphasised that the Moldovan goods were interesting for the European consumers, yet these products must be promoted.

Bulgarian, Serbian, Macedonian, French, Italian, Hungarian, Chinese, Spanish, Romanian, Argentinian, South African, Turkish, Slovakian, Polish and Greek companies also exhibited their goods at the exhibition. 

With the support of the EU-UNDP Support to Confidence Building Measures programme, another 47 Moldovan and Transnistrian economic agents took part in specialised exhibitions in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, France and Romania with collective stands.
