
Multi-storey car parking to be set up in Chisinau
Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/- A multi-storey car parking with 40 places will be set up in the center of Chisinau.
The Chisinau city hall, the Technical University of Moldova / UTM / and a private company started today the construction works of a multi-storey car parking with four levels. It will be built on the territory of UTM, which leased the land near the 2nd study block on 31 August Street.
According to UTM rector Viorel Bostan, teachers and university students will have the opportunity to contribute to the automation of parking. They will benefit from free parking spaces.
Initiator Valentin Darie said that the parking lot will be ten meters high and will provide space for 40 cars. The construction works will last until the end of autumn this year.
He said that the investment amounts to 350-500 thousand euros.
