AIPA allocated over 53 million lei to farmers in first ten days of April

The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) continues subsidizing the agro-industrial sector, announcing the authorization of new payments for producers in the Republic of Moldova. Thus, on 6–10 April 2026, the institution directed over 53 million lei to beneficiaries.

Of the total amount of 53.05 million lei authorized for payment from the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development (FNDAMR), the largest share was directed to post-investment payments. Thus, 50.58 million lei were distributed to 61 agricultural producers who made investments from their own resources and requested state support.

Analysis of the distribution of funds by specific measures indicates interest in modernizing the productive sector: livestock sector: 17.74 million lei were allocated for investments in livestock farms, targeting the modernization of farms and the improvement of animal production standards; crop sector: 14.04 million lei were allocated for production, processing, and marketing infrastructure, thereby supporting the increase of the added value of agricultural products of plant origin.

In addition to post-investment subsidies, AIPA also authorized the amount of 2.47 million lei under the advance payment scheme. These resources were used to pay 10 tranches under the measure aimed at modernizing livestock farms, providing producers with the liquidity needed to implement ongoing projects.

Statistics provided by the Agency highlight increased efficiency in the management of budgetary resources. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, AIPA managed to utilize about 39% of the total budget of the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development approved for this year. “This rapid progress ensures farmers’ access to funds during critical periods for seasonal work,” the institution explains.

For full transparency, AIPA recommends that citizens and interested beneficiaries consult the detailed authorization orders by accessing the official website of the institution, where information is published for each financial support measure.
