DOR government programme of Moldova: children, young people from Diaspora can submit participation files till April 22

Children and young people from families settled abroad, as well as the ones from Moldova can participate in the 14th edition of the government programme, DOR - Diaspora*Origins*Returns. Registration files can be submitted until April 22.

DOR is a programme dedicated both to children and young people from the Diaspora and to those of Moldova and is carried out under the patronage of Moldova’s government, through the Bureau for Relations with the Diaspora. The programme aims to build an emotional connection with Moldova and to promote and preserve national traditions and values.

In 2026, the DOR Programme will be held in two sessions, each with 120 participants. The first session will take place as of August 4 till 12, 2026, and the second session - starting from August 14 till 22, 2026.

The participation in the DOR Programme is free. Costs are covered from the state budget, with participants paying only for transport to and from Moldova.

People willing to participate in the programme should meet more eligibility criteria. They must be between 12 and 17 years old and must understand and be able to communicate in Romanian. Priority will be given to candidates who have not previously taken part in the programme, according to the "first come, first served" principle.

To register for the programme, Diaspora candidates must complete a registration form (https://brd.gov.md/formularul-de-aplicare-pentru-tabara-dor/). They must also send a video in MP4 format (max. 1 minute), in Romanian, to dor@gov.md, on the topic: "Why do I want to participate in the DOR Programme?".

Similarly, candidates from Moldova can register by completing a form (https://brd.gov.md/formular-dor-moldova/), and must also send an email to dor@gov.md with the subject: "The values that unite us, wherever we are".
