Record tax revenue to state budget in a single day
The State Tax Service (SFS) registered record revenues to the state budget in a single day. Thus, on March 25, collections amounted to 1.5 billion lei, marking the highest level recorded for a single day so far.
Compared to the same day of the previous year, when around 1.32 billion lei was collected, the amount accumulated on March 25, 2026 is higher by 15.47%. At the same time, compared to 2024, the increase is 28.28%.
Also, the revenues collected on this day represent approximately 40% of the total state budget collections for March 2026, which amount to about 3.87 billion lei as of March 25, 2026.
The tax authority urges taxpayers to fully and timely meet their tax obligations, as every leu paid contributes to strengthening the national economy and implementing social programs intended for society.
