Deputy Prime Minister holds meetings at U.S. Department of State: Strengthening foreign policy and advancing strategic priorities on agenda
Strengthening foreign policy and advancing Moldova’s strategic priorities were the main topics of a meeting held by Deputy Prime Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu at the United States Department of State.
During the discussions, the official highlighted the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Moldova, with an emphasis on European integration, the consolidation of democratic institutions, and the maintenance of stability and security in the region.
“I reaffirmed our firm commitment to deepening the bilateral partnership and developing cooperation in key areas such as security, energy, and institutional reforms, as well as advancing trade relations,” stated Osmochescu.
The topic of external assistance was also addressed. Osmochescu stressed the importance of the continued support provided by the United States for the implementation of reforms, strengthening economic resilience, and enhancing the state’s capacities in the face of current challenges.
“I expressed my gratitude for the steady support and reiterated our country’s openness to expanding dialogue and identifying new cooperation opportunities for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova,” concluded Osmochescu.
Osmochescu is paying a visit to the United States.
