Support for export promotion: 250 enterprises to receive assistance in accessing foreign markets

A total of 250 companies from the Republic of Moldova will receive specialized assistance in developing export strategies and preparing to access competitive foreign markets. The support will be provided under the Export Accelerator program, launched by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), together with the World Bank Group and with the support of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

The initiative is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises that want to develop their export capabilities and expand their presence on international markets.

ODA Director Vadim Codreanu said that through the Export Accelerator, entrepreneurs will benefit from the tools, expertise, and support needed to adapt their products and processes to the requirements of foreign markets.

“At the same time, we are contributing to the consolidation of a national support ecosystem that will generate sustainable long-term results,” said Vadim Codreanu, who emphasized that export development is essential for increasing the competitiveness of the Moldovan economy and for integrating our companies into international value chains.

Aureliu Casian, executive director of the Competitiveness Enhancement Project Implementation Unit, stressed that the initiative targets both companies that are already exporting and want to expand into other markets or segments, as well as those that have reached a certain level of maturity and are ready to grow through exports.

“Companies do not need to allocate financial resources for participation, but rather time, openness, and willingness to collaborate with the consulting team,” noted Aureliu Casian.

Tatiana Burcă, export program coordinator within the implementing company of the program, stated that the initiative will help companies obtain practical answers to essential questions: Are we ready for export? What are we missing? What and how do we need to improve? Who is our buyer? Which markets and channels are a priority? How do we set our prices? How do we promote ourselves? How do we increase volumes? What expertise do we need and where can we find financing for development? Interested companies can apply to the program by accessing the application form.
