Today - last day for individuals to submit Income Tax Declaration for 2024
The State Tax Service (SFS) warns that today, 30 April 2025, is the last day for individuals to submit the Income Tax Declaration for 2024.
The declaration can be submitted both electronically via Electronic Declaration service and at the tax service offices. To facilitate the submission of the Declaration, all tax service offices across the country have extended hours throughout April, including today, from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
The Declaration must be submitted if: you have income tax payment obligations, including as a result of obtaining income in the form of capital gains; you have used the personal exemption and earned annual taxable income exceeding 360,000 lei; you request a refund of overpaid income tax; you wish to allocate a percentage (2%) of the annual calculated income tax to the budget; you change your permanent residence from the Republic of Moldova to another country.
Income tax can be paid online through the governmental electronic payment service MPay or the Online payment of taxes by citizens service within the Taxpayer's Personal Cabinet, website www.sfs.md.
