29 new regional development projects included in 2025-2027 Single Programming Document

The Single Programming Document 2025–2027 has been supplemented with another 29 new regional development projects. The new projects mainly target the expansion of water supply and sewerage networks, the modernization of elevators in residential blocks and the development of economic, tourism, cultural and sports infrastructure.

Among the investments are water supply projects in Bălți, Strășeni, and Călărași, sewerage and wastewater treatment systems in Ialoveni and Criuleni, as well as the modernization of elevators in residential buildings in several cities across the country.

Projects to be supported also include the development of agri-food infrastructure in Nisporeni, Hîncești-Arena Plus leisure area, Măgdăcești Regional Cultural and Sports Center, the rehabilitation of tourist sites in the north of the country, as well as the design of Universul Center for Culture and Contemporary Art and the preparation of a feasibility study for the construction of the National Stadium in Chișinău.

The estimated value of the projects is about 708 million lei, of which around 632.8 million lei are to be allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. With these amendments, the Single Programming Document will include a total of 657 regional development projects and 1,866 local development projects.
