Head of the Reintegration Policy Bureau has meeting with Ambassador of Belgium to Moldova
Head of the Reintegration Policy Bureau, Alin Gvidiani, today had a meeting with Ambassador of Belgium to Moldova Evert Maréchal, who was accompanied by political and security experts from Brussels.
The discussions focused on the dynamics of the Transnistrian settlement process, the existing dialogue platforms and mechanisms of interaction between the two banks of the Dniester River, as well as on the recent developments in the country’s reintegration policies.
The sides also addressed measures undertaken by Moldova’s authorities to strengthen cohesion between the two banks of Dniester, along with efforts aimed at solving pressing problems for the benefit of citizens, eliminating existing disparities and implementing firm actions to protect human rights.
The interlocutors highlighted importance of maintaining dialogue and clearly communicating the benefits and opportunities offered by the policies promoted by the competent authorities of Moldova, with a view to restoring unified national spaces and enhancing the attractiveness of sectoral reintegration processes.
