Another 132,000 doses of vaccine donated by Romania brought to Moldova
Chisinau, 17 April /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 132,000 doses of vaccine donated by Romania were brought to Moldova today evening, the presidential press service has reported.
President Maia Sandu thanked Romania for the generous donation, which will allow extending the categories of people vaccinated.
„Romania donated from its own vaccines and such a generosity strengthens the solid friendship between Moldova and Romania. We are grateful to Mr. President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Florin Citu, the Romanian nation for solidarity and the huge efforts to make these donations possible. We will continue edifying bridges for our citizens, with the bridge of vaccines being the most valuable one now,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The head of state noted that these donations were important for Moldova. ‘’We move together towards better times, during which we will embrace the dear people and will be happy with each other. To get there, we must continue wearing the mask, keep the social distance and vaccinate. This will be possible for more citizens soon,’’ Maia Sandu added.
