State Chancellery and European partners discuss support for public administration reform
On October 8, 2026, an information session was held to launch the Public Administration Reform in Moldova (MD PAR) project, which will support public institutions in modernizing the administration and preparing for accession to the European Union.
Representatives of the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Finance, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, the embassies of Finland and Estonia, as well as development partners and civil society attended the event.
The discussions presented the project's main areas of activity, including improving public policy planning and coordination, human resources management in the administration, the digitalization of administrative processes, and the development of civil servants' skills. The project also includes activities aimed at improving public services and collecting feedback from citizens.
The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Finnish Institute of Public Management HAUS, in partnership with Estonia's e-Governance Academy. The activities will be carried out in cooperation with the State Chancellery and other central public authorities, drawing on the experience and best practices of EU member states.
