Enrollment process via 'e-Admission' becomes simpler and more secure
Enrollment process at universities in the country, through the online system "e-Admission" becomes safer and better regulated. The government has approved the decision that establishes the functioning mode of the system.
Thus, candidates will be able to create and manage their files online: it can be saved as drafts, modified, or withdrawn during the admission period. Additionally, the system will send electronic notifications regarding the application's status and contest results, providing transparency throughout the entire process. The document also stipulates strict measures for the protection and security of personal data.
Authentication on the "e-Admission" platform will be done through the governmental service MPass, meaning that young people will need an electronic or mobile signature to submit their files. The signature can be obtained for free during visits organized in schools by mobile phone operators. It can also be obtained at the Public Services Agency.
Through this decision, the government standardizes the admission process in all higher education institutions, offering the same rules for universities and equal opportunities for all young people. For those who do not have internet access or an electronic signature, the regulation provides the possibility of assisted enrollment directly at universities, through authorized operators.
The eadmitere.gov.md platform was launched by the Ministry of Education and Research in 2024. Through it, about 34,000 files were submitted by over 26,000 candidates for this year's admission.
