New subscription round via the eVMS.md platform in Moldova; citizens can invest online in government bonds with interest rates up to 7.85 per cent
Individuals can invest in government securities through the www.eVMS.md platform during a new subscription round held during August 24-September 7, 2026. The Finance Ministry is providing bonds with maturities ranging from one to four years and annual interest rates of up to 7.85 per cent.
According to the ministry, for bonds with a one-year maturity, the annual interest rate is 7.45 per cent. For those with a two-year maturity, the interest rate is 7.55 per cent, while three-year bonds carry an annual rate of 7.65 per cent.
The highest interest rate, 7.85 per cent per year, is offered for government bonds with a four-year maturity.
The nominal value of one bond is 100 lei. The corresponding interest is paid semi-annually and transferred directly to the investor’s bank account.
Subscriptions can be made entirely online via the www.eVMS.md platform.
The subscription terms, the issuance prospectus and instructions on the investment process are available on the www.eVMS.md platform and on the official website of the Finance Ministry.
