Law and Life state enterprise to merge with Stefan cel Mare Police Academy in Moldova
Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved a draft government decision on the reorganization of the state enterprise, periodical publication magazine „Legea şi viaţa” (Law and Life), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
In the context of the provisions of the Article 32, paragraph (2) from the Law No 98/2012 on the specialty central public administration, Article 12 from the Law No 246/2017 on the state enterprise and municipal enterprise, the government proposes the reorganization through merger of the state enterprise Law and Life with the Stefan cel Mare Police Academy of the Interior Ministry (MAI). As a result, the Stefan cel Mare Academy will manage the activity previously carried out by the state enterprise, Law and Life.
Following the merger, the magazine Law and Life will benefit from the technical and material basis of the Stefan cel Mare Academy. At the same time, the need to bear the expenses for rent, as well as the ones related to the salary payment will disappear.
The present draft does not need amendments to the budget of MAI’s Stefan cel Mare Police Academy. On the contrary, the implementation of the normative act in the variant suggested will lead to the exclusion and optimization of a string of costs and financial expenses, borne for ensuring the work of the Law and Life state enterprise.
