Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - The driver’s licences issued by the authorities of Moldova and Germany could be mutually recognized on the territory of both states, with the homologation of the theoretical exam and the practical examination is to be compulsorily taken, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

At a today’s meeting, the cabinet members approved the starting of talks on the draft agreement between the two states on the conversion of the driver’s licences.

The initiative was launched by the German side, following more requests by Moldovan citizens on the recognition of Moldova’s national driver’s licences on the territory of Germany.
