Moldovan citizens to benefit from modernized public services at low costs
Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The registration of the civil status acts, businesses, amendments to the articles of incorporation and of data from the state register for the already registered law units will be able to be carried out via electronic communication means.
At a today’s meeting, the cabinet approved the new concepts of development of the information systems, Civil Status Acts (ASC) and the State Register of Law Units (RSUD), held by the Public Services Agency (ASP), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The new interaction channels will significantly contribute to reducing the costs for processing acts, including for Moldova’s citizens who live abroad and hold advanced qualified electronic signatures. The activity is carried out within the project, Modernization of Governmental Services in Moldova (MGSP), implemented by the Electronic Governance Agency (AGE).
The aforementioned information systems will ensure the automation of all processes within the providing of civil status services and of registration of law units, will carry out a model of interaction with applicants for services – through electronic communication means.
With the implementation of new RSUD and ASC information systems, conditions will be created for their migration on the MCloud platform and making the exchange of data with other information systems through the MConnect platform, as well as their integration with the services MSign, MPass, MPay, MNotify and MLog.
The development of the information systems, State Register of Law Units and Civil Status Acts, as well as the maintaining functional for a one-year period starting the day of the system’s putting into operation will be made at the expense of the means of the Modernization of Governmental Services project. According to estimations, the cost of the investment for the development of RSUD information system is of about 6.2 million lei. Another about 10 million lei is scheduled for the development of ASC information system.
The Modernization of Governmental Services in Moldova project is implemented with the support of the World Bank Group and Moldovan government’s contribution during 2018-2023. Over 80 public services are to be modernized within the project, including some of the services provided by the Public Services Agency, based on the agreement on cooperation between AGE and ASP from 13 January 2020.
