Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Deputy Prime Minister, Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu on January 19-22 will participate in the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The PM will have a string of bilateral meetings with political leaders and representatives of international companies with investment potential in Moldova. In discussions with investors, the government’s leadership will promote Moldova as a reliable partner and a safe place for business development.

On January 21, starting from at 10:00 (Moldova time), Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will be a speaker at a panel discission.

This year, the subject of the World Economic Forum, held January 19-23 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, is A Spirit of Dialogue.

The discussions’ agenda will be structured around five major global challenges: strengthening cooperation in an increasingly contested world, unlocking new sources of growth, investing in human capital, implementing innovation at scale in a responsible way and ensuring prosperity within planetary boundaries.

The World Economic Forum will provide an impartial platform for dialogue for almost 3,000 participants from more than 130 countries. About 400 high-level political leaders are expected to attend, including almost 65 heads of state and government and six of the G7 leaders, as well as around 850 CEOs and presidents of the world’s largest companies.
