Moldovan PM, European Commissioner for Enlargement in Davos discuss Moldova's progress in European path
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos have discussed the measures taken by the Moldovan government to accelerate economic growth and the progress made on the path towards EU accession, in the context of his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“The support we receive from our partners gives us confidence that our European path is not in vain and that our efforts will lead to the achievement of the goal of EU accession – for peace, for all citizens,” noted Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.
At the meeting, Marta Kos praised the developments in implementing the two components of the Growth Plan: Reform Agenda and attracting investments. It should be noted that the government has implemented over 90 per cent of the reforms required for the disbursement of the next installment from the European Union, and the consolidated report is to be sent to the European Commission at the end of January.
