Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - A new round of public consultations in the Strategy of public administration’s reform for 2023-2030 took place on 17 and 20 February, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

On 17 February, State Chancellery’s teams went Edinet, Balti and Soroca to discuss with representatives of local public authorities, mayors, district heads, local councilors, civil servants, as well as representatives of the civil society and mass media from the region about the most important changes the new country strategic document is to bring.

The participants in a public discussion held in Comrat (administrative centre of the Gagauz autonomy) exchanged opinions on the new provisions of the strategy and the way they would contribute to the region’s development. The participants had suggestions and proposals, which will be analyzed by the State Chancellery, in order to be included  in the final document submitted to the government for approval.

Ten regional events have been organized so far, in which representatives of the authorities involved and interested in the public administration’s reform from all districts of Moldova participated.
