Eight people born in Russia, including members of Bi-2 band, get Moldovan citizenship
Eight Russian citizens have officially become citizens of the Republic of Moldova. A decree to this effect was signed by President Maia Sandu on December 31, 2025.
Among the new citizens, there are several members of the famous rock band Bi-2: composer Gleb Kolyadin and editing specialist Evgeny Remizovskiy. At the same time, Fedor, the eldest son of the band's lead singer Igor Bortnik, has also got the Moldovan citizenship.
The other five people from Russia who received Moldovan citizenship are Evgenia Andreeva, Olga Belikova, Dmitri Smirnov, Kirill Deseatov, and Ilya Vorobev.
Last year, other members of the band obtained Moldova’s citizenship.
