
About 17,000 ballot papers to be printed for new local elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) began printing ballot papers this morning for the new local elections, which will take place on 18 May.
In total, 16,747 ballot papers will be printed, of which 16,647 will be in Romanian and 100 in Russian.
This Sunday, new local elections will be held for the position of mayor in the commune of Călugăr, Fălești district, the commune of Chiperceni, Orhei district, the village of Talmaza, Ștefan-Vodă district, the commune of Boldurești, Nisporeni district, and the village of Tabani, Briceni district, as well as elections for a new composition of the village council of Temeleuți, Florești district.
