CEC started printing ballots for diaspora voters
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced today that it has begun printing ballots for voters who will vote by mail in the parliamentary elections on 28 September 2025.
A total of 2,472 ballots will be printed, all in Romanian. The ballots contain the 23 registered electoral candidates.
According to CEC data, most ballots will be sent to the USA (1,339), followed by Canada (641), Sweden (406), and Japan (86).
Voting by mail will be available in 10 countries: the USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Australia, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand.
