Moldova's European future at center of high-level meeting in Yerevan

President Maia Sandu today in Yerevan had a meeting with leaders of partner countries and European institutions, dedicated to the European future of Moldova and to strengthening peace and security in the country.

The meeting was attended by the President of Romania Nicusor Dan, President of France Emmanuel Macron, President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer, along together with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, António Costa, President of the European Council, and Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The discussions were also joined by Nikos Christodoulides, President of Cyprus, and Micheál Martin, Prime Minister of Ireland, as representatives of this year’s two rotating presidencies of the Council of the EU.
