Chisinau, July 2 /MOLDPRES/- Third Romania-Ukraine-Moldova Trilateral foreign affairs meeting will be held in Chisinau at the end of this week. Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs made the statement during a radio show on Radio Moldova.
"It is a good opportunity to see what is going well, what we can improve, so as to harness the close relations we have, including in trilateral format, not just in bilateral format," Popșoi said.
The official also said that next week he will attend events within the framework of the NATO Summit in Washington in order to strengthen relations with our partners and to increase Moldova's ability to defend citizens and promote interests.
"NATO's new secretary Mark Rutte is a friend of the Republic of Moldova, he is an extremely experienced politician and I believe that as NATO partners, the capabilities and opportunities for economic development will be increased, to ensure a secure livelihood for citizens," he said.
The official underlined that the authorities are in the final stage of finalizing the new cooperation program with NATO, called the Individually Tailored Partnership Programme (ITPP). "This will be an advanced form of partnership with the North Atlantic Alliance, similar to that of countries such as Australia, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand," Popșoi said.
