
Greek Prime Minister begins visit to Moldova
The Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis is paying a working visit to the Republic of Moldova today. The official is welcomed at the Government by Prime Minister Dorin Recean during a ceremony, which will be followed by a meeting between the two officials.
Subsequently, the high-ranking Greek official will meet with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu. During the meeting, discussions will focus on deepening Moldovan-Greek cooperation, Greece's support for Moldova's European path, the economic dialogue, and the active role of the Moldovan diaspora in Greece.
After the meeting, President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will hold a joint press conference.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Hellenic Republic were established on March 27, 1992.
