Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the cabinet led by Chiril Gaburici on took oath of allegiance before Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti on 18 February.

The government members sweared that they would give all their power and skills for Moldova's flourishing, would observe the Constitution and the laws of the country, defend the democracy, fundamental human rights and freedoms, sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Moldova.

Nicolae Timofti said that, by the 18 February vote, the parliament  gave a strong signal that Moldova entered a period of political stability. "It is necessary to improve the financial, economic and social situation in the country. The commitments taken before the citizens and development partners must be implemented. I refer, first of all,  to the enforcement of the Association Agreement with EU. The European integration is fundamental and must be continued," Timofti specified.

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici said that he, along with the governmental team, were ready to take full responsibility and undertake actions "which would take the country out of the deadlock."

The government was sworn in office, after 60 MPs of the Democratic Party, Liberal Democratic Party and Party of Communists had given it a vote of confidence.
