Moldovan Central Electoral Commission: parties must submit data on leadership to Public Services Agency by July 14, to be admitted to electoral race
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) warns political parties that, by July 14, 2025, they must submit all information on the composition of the central executive bodies of the organization to the Public Services Agency (ASP).
According to CEC, a numerical and nominal list of the presidents, vice-presidents, and members of the central executive bodies must be presented to ASP, in accordance with legal provisions. Without this data, parties will not be allowed to participate in the elections.
The CEC emphasizes that any changes in the party's leadership must be communicated to ASP in 15 days following the taking of the decision. At the same time, parties are asked to keep updated registers of the members and ensure the accuracy of the information submitted to the authorities.
ASP will publish the official information in the Official Journal and on its website, and this information will also be sent to CEC and the National Integrity Authority.
CEC clarified that, in the process of registering parties for participation in elections, it would rely exclusively on data provided by the ASP. The lack of this information will result in the inability to participate in the election.
The parliamentary elections will take place on September 28, 2025, and the electoral period starts on July 14.
