
Pupils from all over Moldova, teachers from United Kingdom visited Moldova's Presidency
A group of pupils from various districts of Moldova and a group of teachers from the United Kingdom, who are attending a summer camp in the country today visited the Presidency of Moldova, as part of the educational programme, European Tour.
The pupils had the opportunity to explore more symbolic areas of the presidential institution: the hall of the first Parliament - where the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Moldova was voted, the presidential library, the hall of distinctions and the rooms meant for official meetings. During the visit, they were accompanied by staff members of the President's Apparatus, who provided them with information about the building's history and the activities of President Maia Sandu.
The educational programme, European Tour, now at its second edition, takes place from June 24 to July 20, 2025. In total, over 1,300 children from all districts of the country will enjoy a series of educational and cultural activities, including visits to the National History Museum, Parliament, and the Presidency, as well as a movie screening at the cinema. Over 2,500 children participated in the first edition of the programme in 2024.
At the same time, today afternoon, more teachers from Willink School in Burghfield, Reading, United Kingdom, visited the Presidential Headquarters, where they had a discussion about the activities of the presidential institution with Larisa Miculet, presidential advisor for relations with citizens.
