President Maia Sandu on July 8 met Moldovans living in Poland. They discussed the country’s European path and actions to be undertaken ‘’to build a safe, free, and dignified country.’’
The head of state spoke about unity and the importance of staying confident in Moldova’s future.
‘’During my visit to Warsaw, I met Moldovans residing in Poland – people who, although living far away, remain connected to what is happening in their homeland. We discussed our European path, about the steps we are taking to build a safe, free, and dignified country. We talked openly about the problems Moldova is facing and about the solutions we can find together. Wherever we are, it’s important to stay united and confident in Moldova’s future,’’ said Maia Sandu.
President Maia Sandu paid a working visit to Poland. The visit took place in the context of efforts to promote the European integration of Moldova and to strengthen the bilateral relations with partner countries.
At the visit, the official had meetings with President of Poland Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The discussions focused on the support provided to Moldova on its path to the European Union, as well as the bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and security fields.
