Moldovan Central Electoral Commission: requesting authorization for opinion polls can be made till September 18, for exit polls until September 21
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has announced the deadlines for requesting authorization of opinion polls regarding voters' political preferences, exit polls and registering interview operators during the electoral period of the parliamentary elections due on September 28, this year.
Thus, applications for authorizing opinion polls can be submitted to CEC till September 18. As for exit polls, applications should be submitted no later than September 21.
At the same time, the latest results of the opinion polls, which have been authorized by the CEC during the electoral period, will be published two days before the election day, namely on September 25.
On election day, September 28, till 21:00, the publication of the results of any opinion polls regarding voters' political preferences is banned. After 21:00, only the results of exit polls, after poll, and the results of opinion polls regarding voters' political preferences that were presented to the public before election day can be released.
