Energocom: average forecast price for natural gas purchase during cold season about 410 euros per thousand cubic meters

Average forecast price for natural gas purchase for 2025–2026 is 38.5 euros/MWh or about 410 euros per thousand cubic meters. The figures were presented today by Energocom company, which noted that the exact purchase price for each month will be known on the last day of the month preceding delivery.

According to Energocom, the average forecast price was established based on offers obtained at the tenders and the available TTFFM quotations as of September 15, 2025. It includes the transport cost to Moldova virtual trading point (VTP).

Energocom's data show that for 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026, about 90.9% of the forecast volume of natural gas consumption has already been contracted with firm delivery, accounting for 7,448,218 MWh, equivalent to about 700 million m³.

Gas purchases started in May for each month individually within 54 rounds of tenders in which 13 companies from Switzerland, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany and the Netherlands participated. 26 of the rounds concluded successfully.
