Ballot papers for Moldova's Diaspora printed, ready for distribution

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announces that 864,300 ballots have been printed for the 297 polling stations abroad for the parliamentary elections on September 28, 2025.

'Today, the entire batch was handed over to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, which will handle the distribution of the ballots to the Diaspora polling stations. The procedure ensures that all citizens of Moldova residing abroad can participate in the election, contributing to a fair, transparent, and free electoral process,’’ CEC said.

The Central Electoral Commission reminds voters abroad that the location of the nearest polling station can be found on the official CEC page: diaspora.cec.md/ro/locations.

Preparing the ballot papers is a crucial step in ensuring the smooth conduct of the elections and reflects the authorities' commitment to facilitating the active participation of Diaspora citizens in the country's democratic life, the central electoral authority added.
