Moldovan PM attends Congress of Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology

Prime Minister Dorin Recean has attended the opening of the anniversary Congress of the Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, which marks the 50th anniversary of its foundation. The event gathers over 400 participants and more than 60 international speakers from Romania, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Israel and Ukraine.

The PM commended the efforts made by doctors, noting that anesthesia and reanimation were essential pillars of modern medicine, without which there would be no safe interventions and effective treatments in critical cases.

‘’We are grateful for the huge work you do, for the vigilance and for every life saved,’’ Dorin Recean stressed.

At the same time, Prime Minister Dorin Recean referred to measures implemented in the healthcare field: supporting medical staff through increased income, hospitals’ modernization with major investments and strengthening a European healthcare system with quality services accessible to each citizen.

Anesthesiologists and reanimatologists will participate in over 35 practical workshops, conferences and interactive discussions focused on improving clinical practice and patient outcomes. Also, specialists will discuss the latest protocols, techniques and scientific approaches in the field, establishing international connections and partnerships.

The anniversary Congress of the Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology takes place in Chisinau on September 12-14.
