Moldovan president visits Center of Excellence in Energy and Electronics, renovated with European partners' support
President Maia Sandu today visited the Center of Excellence in Energy and Electronics, where the institution's modernized workshops were inaugurated. Following the reconstruction work, pupils now benefit from a modern learning space and teachers have equipment and tools that make their activities more efficient.
The modernization of this center was made possible thanks to investments supported by the European Union and the state, with the total value exceeding 60 million lei. The study blocks and workshops were endowed with high-performance equipment, and one of the center's dormitories now provides better living conditions for young people.
“Energy and electronics are quickly developing fields and now young people can learn in a modern environment well-prepared for their needs, while teachers have tools that make their work more efficient. These investments help us form a generation of motivated and well-educated specialists right here at home, who will develop Moldova,” said President Maia Sandu.
In recent years, more than 400 million lei has been directed to the entire technical vocational education system of Moldova, from both the national budget and European funds.
