Moldovan Central Electoral Commission launches Voter's Guide in five languages of ethnic minorities
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has prepared informational materials for voters, translated into five languages of ethnic minorities of Moldova: Russian, Ukrainian, Gagauz, Bulgarian and Romani.
According to the CEC, the initiative is part of the information campaign conducted in the context of the parliamentary elections due on September 28, 2025.
The materials developed include the Voter's Guide for the Parliamentary Elections of Moldova on September 28, 2025, which provides essential details regarding: the responsibilities and competencies of participants in the electoral process; the categories of people eligible and ineligible to vote; the identification documents required for voting; the voting procedure; the steps to be followed in case of irregularities.
According to the quoted source, on the election day, informative posters in these languages will be displayed in polling stations, in order to facilitate access to information for all voters.
The materials can be consulted on the CEC’s official website. The distribution of leaflets will be carried out nationwide by mobile teams.
At the same time, the CEC has prepared informative materials dedicated to voters residing abroad and those in the Transnistrian region, with general information about the voting procedure in the parliamentary elections due this autumn.
