Former police officer sentenced to prison
Ion Perju, a former police officer sentenced to 10 years in prison, was detained today following several raids on members of Shor group. The General Police Inspectorate confirmed the information.
According to the information, within Shor group, Ion Perju allegedly had the role of coordinator, being responsible for converting cryptocurrencies into cash.
Ion Perju was sentenced to prison for the fatal blow to Valeriu Boboc during the protests of April 2009. He was declared internationally wanted in 2015.
