
Moldovan government approves appointment of more ambassadors to office
Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members, at a today’s meeting, accepted the recalling of Emil Druc from the office of Moldova’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Canada. Also today, the government gave a positive notification to the appointment of Emil Druc as Moldovan ambassador to Lithuania.
The cabinet also approved a decision on the appointment of Sergiu Odainic as head of Moldova’s diplomatic mission in Canada.
Also today, the ministers voted for the appointment of Liliana Gutan as Moldova’s ambassador to Sweden and of Iulian Grigorita – as ambassador to the State of Qatar.
Also, Alexandru Roitman will lead Moldova’s Embassy in Israel.
Under the law on the diplomatic service, the proposals on the appointment to office of ambassador are submitted to government by the foreign affairs and European integration minister, with the consultation of the parliament’s commission for foreign policy and European integration.
