According to the draft, Moldova HiTech Park will have the status of an industrial park and will work as a multidisciplinary center, bringing together research, development, startup incubation, university education, continuous training, as well as attracting private investments and technology transfer.
The park will be built in Stauceni, covering an area of about 50 hectares, and will be developed during 30 years. The complex will include office buildings, laboratories, university campuses, conference centers, residential spaces, and infrastructure for testing and prototyping. It is estimated that more than 21,000 jobs will be created in technological fields and investments of over 200 million euros will be attracted.

The initial funding of the park will be provided from resources allocated within the Economic Growth Plan for Moldova, developed in collaboration with the European Union. For the period 2024-2027, the plan foresees the allocation of up to 200 million euros for the development of industrial and innovative areas.
