Moldovan parliament approves support of 3,000 lei for young specialists
Young specialists employed for the first time in strategically important industries will receive a monthly allowance of 3,000 lei for a period of 12 months. The parliament today approved, in the second reading, a draft on establishing the National Financial Support Programme for young employees in these fields.
The legislative initiative, proposed by an MP of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Eugeniu Sinchevici, aims to stimulate the sustainable integration of young people into the labor market and encourage employment in key sectors for the economic development of Moldova.
The young beneficiaries must be at most 35 years old and employed for the first time in one of the following fields: electronics industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, automotive and auto parts manufacturing, textile and clothing industry, construction materials industry, food industry and creative industry. These sectors are included in the National Industrial Development Programme for the years 2024–2028.
According to estimates, about 6,000 young people will benefit from this financial support in the next two years. The necessary funds will be allocated from the state budget, and the conditions and implementation mechanism will be established by the government.
