
Moldova's special parliamentary commission discusses subject on movement of citizens from left bank of Dniester
Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the special parliamentary commission for monitoring and parliamentary control over the carrying out of the policy of Moldova’s reintegration have convened at a meeting. Attending the event was Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, as well as representatives of the Public Services Agency, State Fiscal Service, General Police Inspectorate, etc.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the discussions were focused on the subject of movement of the citizens from the left bank of Dniester. The participants referred to the mechanism of issuance of the neutral registration plates for vehicles and the situation of the ferryboat from Molovata. Also, the participants in the meeting considered the latest developments in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process.
The special parliamentary commission for monitoring and parliamentary control over the carrying out of the policy of Moldova’s reintegration was set up at a proposal by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Its goal is to monitor and assess the situation as to the reintegration policies and elaborate proposals and recommendations which would allow the regaining of confidence and the rapprochement of the citizens on the two banks of Dniester.
