Special access measures at Chișinău Airport remain in effect by 17 September

Special access measures at Chișinău International Airport Eugen Doga will remain in effect by 17 September 2026 amid increased passenger traffic generated by the departure of Hasidic pilgrims.

According to the Border Police, on 14-17 September access to the terminal is permitted only for passengers, airport personnel, and aircraft crew members. Passengers may enter the terminal no more than three hours before their scheduled departure time, upon presenting their travel document and flight confirmation.

Access for people accompanying passengers is also restricted. The movement and parking of coaches are organized exclusively in specially designated areas, in accordance with the instructions of the authorities and responsible personnel.

The Border Police recommends that passengers check their flight status in advance, have the necessary documents ready for inspection, and follow the instructions of representatives of the authorities and the services involved.
