New PM says it is great honour for him to serve Moldova
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has thanked the MPs for supporting the government programme and for the trust given to the entire team. As priorities for the activity of the new government, he mentioned the economic growth and the continuation of the country's European path.
In a public message, Alexandru Munteanu emphasized that it was a great honor for him to serve the country.
“We will focus on economic growth and continue our strategic direction – the accession of Moldova to the European Union, an objective supported by the majority of citizens. We want this process to bring tangible benefits to people: investments, well-paid jobs, modern public services and an efficient administration close to the citizens,” said Alexandru Munteanu.
After receiving the vote of confidence, Alexandru Munteanu called on citizens for unity.
“What we have achieved together in recent years represents remarkable progress. These results show us how much we can accomplish when we build together, always having a common goal ahead. Let us unite our forces for the good, prosperity and European path of Moldova,” said Alexandru Munteanu.
The parliament gave vote of confidence to the cabinet led by Alexandru Munteanu today evening and approved the government programme, EU, Peace, Development. Fifty five 55 lawmakers of the Action and Solidarity Party's parliamentary majority expressed support for the new government.
