Moldova's Prime Minister- designate presented entire government team
Prime Minister-designate Alexandru Munteanu presented his entire government team with which he will go to Parliament to seek a vote of confidence from the deputies.
Alexandru Munteanu emphasized that the priority of the new government is to achieve economic growth, together with a professional government team that will ensure that the Republic of Moldova is prepared to join the EU in the coming years.
Thus, the new government will have five deputy prime ministers. They are Eugen Osmochescu, proposed for the position of Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Valeriu Chiveri, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.
Dan Perciun will retain his position as Minister of Education and Research, Ludmila Catlabuga will continue as Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, and Daniella Misail-Nichitin retains her seat as Minister of Internal Affairs.
At the same time, Vladislav Cojuhari is proposed to head the Ministry of Justice, Andrian Gavriliță will be Minister of Finance, Natalia Plugaru – Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Emil Ceban – Minister of Health, and Gheorghe Hajder – Minister of Environment.
Cristian Jardan is proposed for the Ministry of Culture, Anatolie Nosatîi remains at Defense, and the Energy portfolio will continue to be managed by Dorin Junghietu.
