The parliament hosted a visit by a delegation of members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Poland’s Sejm, which took place on May 10-12, this year.
The Polish MPs had meetings with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Deputy Parliament Speaker, Chair of the Foreign Policy Commission Doina Gherman, as well as with Chair of the Friendship Group with Poland Larisa Voloh and its members. The visit’s agenda also included a meeting with Secretary of State of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Carolina Perebinos.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, including at parliamentary level, opportunities to deepen the partnership in areas of common interest, as well as on the European path of Moldova and best practices relevant for the process of accession to the European Union.
