Polish MPs visit Chișinău to strengthen bilateral relations

A delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Moldova from the Sejm of the Republic of Poland will pay an official visit to Chișinău on 8–10 April.

During the visit, the Polish deputies are scheduled to hold meetings in Parliament with Speaker Igor Grosu, as well as Deputy Speaker Doina Gherman, co-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland.

The officials will also hold talks with members of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Poland, headed by MP Larisa Voloh.

The agenda also includes field visits. The delegation will travel to Comrat, where meetings at the City Hall are planned, as well as visits to Mihai Eminescu Theoretical Lyceum and the History Museum in Avdarma.

According to the organizers, the discussions will focus on opportunities to boost Moldovan-Polish cooperation, including at parliamentary level, as well as the exchange of experience on European integration path of the Republic of Moldova. In this context, Poland’s experience in the accession to the European Union will also be examined.
