PAS to have new MP in Parliament

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will propose to the Constitutional Court the validation of the MP mandate for candidate Silvia Bondarenco, from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) list. She is to take over the parliamentary mandate previously held by Nicolae Botgros.

During today’s meeting, the CEC took note of the vacancy of a parliamentary mandate.

“The vacancy of the mandate occurred following the resignation request submitted by Nicolae Botgros, elected on the PAS list. The Commission will propose to the Constitutional Court to declare as elected and to validate the MP mandate of the substitute candidate Silvia Bondarenco, from the list of the same party,” the CEC announced.

Silvia Bondarenco is a teacher of mathematics and physics. She holds the position of head of Râșcani Multifunctional Center of the Public Services Agency.

Nicolae Botgros submitted his parliamentary mandate on March 27 of this year. He chose to remain close to the public as the artistic director of “Lăutarii” orchestra.
