Government staff reshuffle

Rodica Crudu and Cristina Cerevate have been appointed as state secretaries of the Bureau for European Integration within the Government. The decisions were approved today by the Cabinet.

Rodica Crudu was appointed to the new position after the Government accepted the termination of her employment as deputy secretary general of the Cabinet.

According to the Bureau for European Integration, Rodica Crudu currently holds the position of deputy secretary general of the Government for European integration. She has extensive experience in public administration and European affairs. Previously, she served as deputy secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. She has also held leadership positions within the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development and in academia, working as a lecturer at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Throughout her activity, she has gained solid expertise in coordinating the process of integration and accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.

Cristina Cerevate is a career diplomat. Since 2014, she has worked within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, in the European Integration Directorate. In 2021, she was seconded to the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, where she directly contributed to promoting key decisions regarding the European path of the Republic of Moldova, including the granting of candidate country status and the opening of accession negotiations. She also contributed to advancing Moldova’s cooperation with the EU in the field of security and defense. Cristina Cerevate has also worked at the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the UN Office in Geneva, as well as in the Council of Europe and Human Rights Section within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gaining experience in multilateral cooperation and the promotion of human rights.

Also today, the Government decided to dismiss Denis Sîtari from the position of deputy director of the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology.

At the same time, Neli Lilenco was appointed deputy director of the National Agency for Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence.
